About me

How did I become a celebrant?

It all started after my own amazing wedding. I made a passing comment to a teaching colleague about how I would love to be a celebrant one day.

Fast forward a few years, and that playful banter turned into a real thing. That exact same colleague got engaged and asked me to officiate her wedding.

After 12 months of study and some serious paperwork, I had the honour of marrying my beautiful friend and her husband. Their incredible wedding day brought me so much joy - I knew I wanted to help more couples create their own special ceremonies.

Who am I?

I am a happily married mum who grew up in the rolling hills of South Gippsland on a dairy farm. After living and working in the city as a secondary school teacher for the last decade, I have recently returned with my family to live in the seaside town of Inverloch.

My nearest and dearest would describe me as:

Down-to-earth and approachable
Highly motivated (with a touch of perfectionism)
Super organised and reliable

Why do I love being a celebrant?

Beyond the busyness of family life, I love collaborating with couples to create wedding ceremonies that are relaxed, fun, and truly personalised.

Every love story is unique, and I really enjoy writing ceremonies that reflect your journey as a couple and the vision you have for your special day.

Approximately 5-10 minutes in duration

Just the two of you, plus two witnesses

A meeting to complete the legal paperwork
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
Minimum legal wording
Signing table and two chairs

Decorative marriage certificate
Official Legal Marriage Certificate (valued at $70)

Short and Sweet

Approximately 15-20 minutes in duration

A great option if you want a relaxed, personal ceremony focused on your vows and commitment - without diving into a full love story narrative.

Inclusions:

Access to a personalised planning portal (via My Celebrant App)
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
Personalised ceremony script (Procession, "I dos", personalised vows, ring exchange, first kiss, signing and recession)
Dedicated planning meeting
High-quality, battery-powered PA system
Signing table and two chairs (if needed)
Public Indemnity & Liability Insurance
Unlimited contact and support
Vow writing guidance
Rehearsal via video or phone call**
Decorative marriage certificate
Heartfelt, professional ceremony delivery

Completely Customised Ceremony

A ceremony that is completely yours. From the wording and structure to your love story, special moments and personal touches, every detail is carefully considered to reflect who you are as a couple.

Approximately 20-30 minutes in duration

Inclusions:

Access to a personalised planning portal (via My Celebrant App)
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
Completely personalised ceremony script, including your unique love story
Dedicated planning meeting
High-quality, battery-powered PA system
Signing table and two chairs (if needed)
Public Indemnity & Liability Insurance
Unlimited contact and support
Vow writing guidance and support
Full rehearsal
Decorative marriage certificate
Heartfelt, professional ceremony delivery

* All prices are inclusive of travel within 50km of Inverloch, 3996. Beyond this distance,

travel fees may apply. A deposit of $300 must be paid to secure your wedding date/time.

NUMBER 1 CELEBRANT - GIPPSLAND & PHILLIP ISLAND!

Well… this is pretty special and extremely unexpected!

I’m absolutely thrilled (and a little bit lost for words) to share that I’ve been named #1 Celebrant for Phillip Island & Gippsland!

To all of my couples - thank you! Thank you for trusting me with one of the biggest moments in your lives, sharing your stories with me and for being the amazing people you are.

And to my family and friends who have cheered me on - thank you for backing me, encouraging me and celebrating every little win along the way.

I’m feeling incredibly grateful and so excited for what’s ahead.

And now, with wedding season kicking off next week with Kol + Hannah, I couldn’t be more excited!

Wedding Industry Awards Finalist!

A full circle moment 💫

Five years ago, I was nominating my own celebrant in The Australian Wedding Industry Awards.

And now, here I am - a finalist myself! 🥹

I’m so excited to be listed alongside some of the best celebrants across Gippsland and Phillip Island.

The winners will be announced at the Wedding Industry Awards Virtual Presentation at 6:30pm on Tuesday 8 September.

While I’m under no illusion that I’m up against some incredibly talented and experienced celebrants, I already feel like a winner just to be voted as a finalist 💚

A huge thank you to all of my amazing couples who gave me the absolute privilege of marrying you over the past year - and who took the time to vote in these awards.

I’m so grateful for every love story, every ceremony and every couple who has trusted me with such an important part of their day.

I was hoping to keep this post in the drafts for a little longer... but my calendar had other ideas 😂

I've been sending a few too many, "I'm so sorry, I'm fully booked" emails lately, so here's a quick 2027 availability update.

I am calling it early: the upcoming wedding season is going to be incredible!

I was down at Settlers Run Golf Club over the weekend for Chelsea & Kayleb's rehearsal, and as I drove home, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. It made me feel so excited for the upcoming wedding season - marrying genuinely lovely people in amazing places.

If you're planning a 2027 wedding, this is your friendly reminder to lock in your preferred vendors sooner rather than later. Choosing people you genuinely connect with is super important.

Winter means fewer weddings, more cups of tea, and finally catching up on sharing some beautiful celebrations.

It feels so special to share moments from this incredible day.

It was drizzling rain as I drove across the bridge to Phillip Island, but by the time the ceremony started, the clouds had parted and the sun was shining brightly on these two ☀️

Tim and Meagan's story began in primary school, but it wasn't until years later they reconnected. Ever since then, they've been busy making memories together - camping trips, exploring in their 4WD, welcoming their puppies into the family and laughing through life's perfectly imperfect moments.

Tim and Meagan are some of the most down-to-earth people you'll ever meet. They were an absolute dream to work with - genuine, laid-back and so in love. It was such a privilege to stand alongside them as they said 'I do'.

I'm so excited to see what the future holds for these two. Congratulations, Tim and Meagan 🥰
