About me

How did I become a celebrant?

It all started after my own amazing wedding. I made a passing comment to a teaching colleague about how I would love to be a celebrant one day.

Fast forward a few years, and that playful banter turned into a real thing. That exact same colleague got engaged and asked me to officiate her wedding.

After 12 months of study and some serious paperwork, I had the honour of marrying my beautiful friend and her husband. Their incredible wedding day brought me so much joy - I knew I wanted to help more couples create their own special ceremonies.

Who am I?

I am a happily married mum of two who grew up in the rolling hills of South Gippsland on a dairy farm. After living and working in the city as a secondary school teacher for the last decade, I have recently returned to live in the seaside town of Inverloch.

My nearest and dearest would describe me as:

Down-to-earth and approachable
Highly motivated and a bit of a perfectionist
Super organised and reliable

Why do I love being a celebrant?

Beyond the busyness of family life, I love collaborating with couples to create wedding ceremonies that are relaxed, fun, and truly personalised.

Every love story is unique, and I really enjoy writing ceremonies that reflect your journey as a couple and the vision you have for your special day. Together, we will create a memorable celebration that you and your guests will cherish forever.

Approximately 20-40 minutes in duration

Inclusions:

Initial obligation-free meeting
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
A planning meeting
Completely personalised ceremony (including readings/rituals and your unique love story)
Unlimited phone and email contact (including vow writing support)
Use of battery powered PA system
Signing table and two chairs
Public Indemnity and Liability Insurance
Full rehearsal
Heartfelt and professional ceremony delivery
Official decorative marriage certificate
BONUS: Legal Marriage Certificate (valued at $70)

Short & Sweet

$850*

A small and intimate wedding for up to 40 guests

Approximately 15-20 minutes in duration

Inclusions:

Initial obligation-free meeting
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
A planning meeting
Personalised ceremony (including your unique love story)
Unlimited phone and email contact (including vow writing support)
Use of my battery powered PA system
Signing table and two chairs
Public Indemnity and Liability Insurance
Rehearsal via video/phone call
Heartfelt and professional ceremony delivery
Official decorative marriage certificate
BONUS: Legal Marriage Certificate (valued at $70)

Legals Only

$600*

Approximately 5-10 minutes in duration

Inclusions:

A meeting to complete the legal paperwork
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
Minimum legal wording
Signing table and two chairs
Public Indemnity and Liability Insurance
Professional ceremony delivery
Official decorative marriage certificate
BONUS: Legal Marriage Certificate (valued at $70)

* All prices are inclusive of travel within 50km of Inverloch, 3996. Beyond this distance, travel fees may apply

A deposit of $300 must be paid to secure your wedding date/time.

How is it December already? With just one more wedding left to wrap up the year, I've been reflecting on just how special 2025 has been.

2025 has been incredible! 💛

Thank you to every couple who chose me to be your celebrant this year (and to those who've already booked for 2026!). It’s such an honour to stand beside you and play a part in one of the most meaningful moments of your lives.

This year has been the most exciting career change I could have ever dreamed of. If you asked me what I’ve loved most… it’s absolutely the people. I’ve been lucky enough to meet the most genuine, kind, and down-to-earth people, and each of you has made this journey feel very special.

With the sun shining again today, I can’t help but think about Tim and Kylie's beautiful beach wedding - the most perfect day from start to finish!

Venue spotlight: Chapter Barn

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Chapter Barn today - and wow, what an incredible place! Mel and Rainer are just as lovely as everyone says, and their passion and hard work shine through in every corner of the property. From the stunning barn to the multiple ceremony locations, everything is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained.

I was honestly so taken back by how amazing it all was that I completely forgot to take photos 😅 (which says everything, right?)

The past few weeks have been full of love and beautiful celebrations - so many precious moments I can't wait to share.

Brenton and Skye 25.09.25

Their love story began with many late-night gaming sessions and a vanilla slice picnic at the park.

A year later, Brenton brought Skye back to the exact same park, pulled a ring from the vanilla slice bag, and said, “Last year was a picnic in the park… this year, it’s a proposal in the park.”

And now, they’re married - two peas in a pod, celebrating love, laughter, and a lifetime of adventures ahead 🥰🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️🎉

What an absolute honour it was to stand alongside these two lovely people as they became husband and wife!
