About me

How did I become a celebrant?

It all started after my own amazing wedding. I made a passing comment to a teaching colleague about how I would love to be a celebrant one day.

Fast forward a few years, and that playful banter turned into a real thing. That exact same colleague got engaged and asked me to officiate her wedding.

After 12 months of study and some serious paperwork, I had the honour of marrying my beautiful friend and her husband. Their incredible wedding day brought me so much joy - I knew I wanted to help more couples create their own special ceremonies.

Who am I?

I am a happily married mum who grew up in the rolling hills of South Gippsland on a dairy farm. After living and working in the city as a secondary school teacher for the last decade, I have recently returned with my family to live in the seaside town of Inverloch.

My nearest and dearest would describe me as:

Down-to-earth and approachable
Highly motivated (with a touch of perfectionism)
Super organised and reliable

Why do I love being a celebrant?

Beyond the busyness of family life, I love collaborating with couples to create wedding ceremonies that are relaxed, fun, and truly personalised.

Every love story is unique, and I really enjoy writing ceremonies that reflect your journey as a couple and the vision you have for your special day.

Battery-powered PA system

Signing table and two chairs
Public Indemnity & Liability Insurance
Full rehearsal via video or phone call (on-site rehearsals available for an additional $200)
Heartfelt, professional ceremony delivery
Decorative marriage certificate
BONUS: Official Legal Marriage Certificate (valued at $70)

Small and Sweet

$950*

A small and intimate wedding with up to 30 guests

Approximately 20-30 minutes in duration

This package is perfect for couples who want to keep things personal and relaxed.

You’ll receive everything included in the Completely Customised Ceremony package - the same care, support, and personalised ceremony - just with a smaller guest list.

Less people, same lovely ceremony.

Legals Only

$600*

Just the two of you, plus two witnesses

Approximately 5-10 minutes in duration

Inclusions:

A meeting to complete the legal paperwork
Supply, completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork
Minimum legal wording
Signing table and two chairs
Public Indemnity & Liability Insurance
Professional ceremony delivery
Decorative marriage certificate
BONUS: Official Legal Marriage Certificate (valued at $70)

* All prices are inclusive of travel within 50km of Inverloch, 3996. Beyond this distance, travel fees may apply

A deposit of $300 must be paid to secure your wedding date/time.

I was hoping to keep this post in the drafts for a little longer... but my calendar had other ideas 😂

I've been sending a few too many, "I'm so sorry, I'm fully booked" emails lately, so here's a quick 2027 availability update.

I am calling it early: the upcoming wedding season is going to be incredible!

I was down at Settlers Run Golf Club over the weekend for Chelsea & Kayleb's rehearsal, and as I drove home, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. It made me feel so excited for the upcoming wedding season - marrying genuinely lovely people in amazing places.

If you're planning a 2027 wedding, this is your friendly reminder to lock in your preferred vendors sooner rather than later. Choosing people you genuinely connect with is super important.

Winter means fewer weddings, more cups of tea, and finally catching up on sharing some beautiful celebrations.

Tim and Meagan 21.03.2026 🥰

It feels so special to share moments from this incredible day.

It was drizzling rain as I drove across the bridge to Phillip Island, but by the time the ceremony started, the clouds had parted and the sun was shining brightly on these two ☀️

Tim and Meagan's story began in primary school, but it wasn't until years later they reconnected. Ever since then, they've been busy making memories together - camping trips, exploring in their 4WD, welcoming their puppies into the family and laughing through life's perfectly imperfect moments.

Tim and Meagan are some of the most down-to-earth people you'll ever meet. They were an absolute dream to work with - genuine, laid-back and so in love. It was such a privilege to stand alongside them as they said 'I do'.

I'm so excited to see what the future holds for these two. Congratulations, Tim and Meagan 🥰

Tom and Mads 🌼🌿🌸

10 years together, 3 beautiful kids, one flower-filled farm and a whole lot of love 💚

Tom and Mads first met at a BBQ after some mutual friends decided to play matchmakers. It is safe to say their friends did a brilliant job 👌

Fast forward a decade, Tom and Mads said “I do” in one of their paddocks, with sweeping views back towards their home, surrounded by their nearest and dearest people.

As a flower farmer, Mads had always dreamed of her flowers being part of the day. In the lead-up to the wedding, she was a little nervous they might not bloom in time - but honestly, it was like they knew exactly when they were needed. All her beautiful flowers came into full bloom just in time for their special day and it looked absolutely incredible.

The whole celebration felt warm, relaxed and genuinely full of love. Having their three kids standing beside them made the ceremony feel even more special. A wonderful celebration of their love and the life they have already built together.

It was such an honour to be part of this beautiful day.

Over the last few months, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes to transfer everything across.

Now… those who know me best know I absolutely LOVE a good Google Doc 😂 and trust me, I will always have a soft spot for them. But even my beloved Google Docs can’t do what this app can do.

Since officially getting together, everything just clicked for these two.

Easy conversation, plenty of laughs, and a love that feels natural and effortless.

They love travelling, exploring new places, and making memories together - but just as much, they love the simple, everyday moments too.

Their relationship is built on friendship, kindness, and a shared sense of humour that makes even the ordinary feel pretty special.

Emerson and Chelsee - it was such an honour to share your story and stand beside you as you said “I do.”
